Terms and Conditions
Declaration: By booking with us, you and your party acknowledge and accept the following Terms and Conditions. You are responsible for your own health, safety, and belongings while visiting Chiangmai Elephant Care.
- Hotel pickup within Chiang Mai city is included in the tour price. Additional payment of at least ฿200 per person is required for hotels outside the city.
- A deposit is necessary to confirm your booking. For 1 to 3 people, the deposit fee is ฿1,000 (total), while for 4 or more people, it is ฿2,000 (total).
- The remaining balance must be paid in cash (฿ Thai Baht) at the camp. Credit card payments are not accepted.
- Cancellations incur charges:
- Cancellation from booking date until 2 days before the tour results in a 50% cancellation charge of the deposit paid.
- Cancellation within 2 days prior to the tour or a No Show incurs a 100% cancellation charge of the deposit paid.
- Visitors are advised to have travel insurance covering cancellation charges due to illness or accidents.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your reservation due to uncontrollable circumstances.
- Visitors must follow the camp’s safety guidelines, including not approaching elephants without a guide/mahout, not putting hands in an elephant’s mouth, not approaching elephants from behind, and refraining from smoking and drinking alcohol near elephants or in dining areas.
- Visits to the camp are at the visitor’s own risk. Personal accident insurance and medical expenses coverage are provided (limits and conditions apply). It is recommended for visitors to have individual emergency medical and travel insurance.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage to visitors or their property, and no claims can be made in any circumstance.
- All media recordings taken at Chiangmai Elephant Care are the commercial property of Chiangmai Elephant Care. Distribution or resale of such recordings requires written consent from Chiangmai Elephant Care.
